Fabio offers the shirt off his back for the Drogs

At a time when Drogheda United needs all the friends it can get, it's heartening to see some people willing to let bygones be bygones for the good of the club.

Just today, club officials received a call from former Drog captain, Declan "Fabio" O'Brien offering his Setanta Cup Final jerseys to raise funds for the club in its time of need.

The club is trying to make contact with David Whelan who we understand would be delighted to pick up the jerseys :-)
