Cooke Brings All the Right Ingredients

Drogheda United is delighted to announce the appointment of Mick Cooke as 1st team manager of the club.

Mick, who played for Drogheda United during the early 70s, re-joins the club from Monaghan United where he has proved his ability to get the very best from a team within tight budgetary constraints. He is one of the League of Ireland's most experienced and respected managers.

The board of management of Drogheda United looks forward to working closely with Mick and his backroom staff to re-build the club both on and off the pitch.

Mick will be assisted by former Sporting Fingal coach, Robbie Horgan, who was one of Drogheda’s most popular goalkeepers during the late 80s/early 90s.
