Drogheda Boys join the big boys in Hunky Dorys Park

Drogheda Boys football club’s annual Paddy Mooney summer school concluded last Saturday at Hunky Dorys Park. Over 90 children attended the four week event this year with the first three Saturday sessions taking place at the club’s grounds at Marley’s Lane, Drogheda. The boys and girls, aged between 4 and a half and 9 had the chance to work with over 20 coaches over the four week period in a mix of fun games and skills development culminating in an extravaganza in Hunky Dorys Park where the kids were joined by Drogheda United manager Mick Cooke and his players along with mascot Droggie who got involved in games with the delighted children.
