This was a game that was always going to be decided by the weather conditions. With a gale blowing down the pitch the Drogs played into the wind the first half and did well to restrict second-placed Finn Harps to shots from distance and the one gilt-edged chance they had in the first half produced a great save from Daniel Grace.
The visitors broke well out of defence and created a couple chances and were unlucky not to score.
In the second half The Drogs played with the wind and dealt well with early pressure from Harps.
The deadlock was broken on the hour mark when the Harps winger broke down the left and crossed for their forward to finish.
Harps piled pressure on the pressure and the Drogs defence did well to keep in the game. In the 84th minute Callum Leonard pounced on a loose ball from the keeper to their centre back and bore down on goal before squaring to Tom Adeyinka to finish for a great equaliser.
With Harps knowing they needed a win to confirm 2nd in the league they threw everything at the Drogs they got the winner with 2mins remaining with a header from a corner. Although unlucky to concede defeat, this was another great Drogs display.
