Drogheda United are delighted to announce that Richie Purdy has agreed a new contract with the club.
The 20-year-old midfielder first joined Drogheda in July 2016 on loan from Shamrock Rovers and was an ever-present as the Boynesiders secured promotion from the First Division via the play-offs.
Purdy made 25 appearances for Drogheda last season but missed the final few weeks of the campaign through injury.
His signature brings Tim Clancy’s squad up to twelve ahead of their return for pre-season.
