Drogheda United are delighted to announce that Lee Duffy has rejoined the club.

The 26-year-old forward, who scored from distance in Saturday’s Jim Malone Cup defeat to Dundalk, put pen to paper on a new deal with the Boynesiders on Monday.

Duffy first joined Drogheda in 2015 under Johnny McDonnell and he netted seven times in 25 games despite the Drogs being relegated to the First Division.

The former Shelbourne man then had short spells at Longford Town and Wexford Youths before returning to United Park.
