Match Report

Newstalk A League
Drogs 0 Sligo 0

This was a game of two halves. In the first half, the home side dominated with a great display of good football, created numerous chances up front, but failed to make the advantage pay. Missing Stephen Campbell and Paul Matondo, Daruis drafted in Philly Kavanagh and Nicky Foster to the starting eleven. They made plenty of chances and should have been at least three up at half time, but went in 0-0. In the second half, the Drogs failed to produce the same level of intensity and allowed the visitors more into the game and only a brilliant point-blank save from Joe Flanagan prevented the visitors from taking the points.
