Gavin Brennan

Gavin signed for Drogheda midway through the 2011 season, making his debut in the Drogs’ away defeat to Bohemians on 24th June. Having previously played local football, Gavin follows in the footsteps of brothers Sean, Ryan and Killian in turning out for his hometown club.

He was a huge part of a very successful two years under manager Mick Cooke as the Drogs won the EA Sports Cup and finished runners-up in the league in 2012 before competing in the Europa League the following season as well as suffering heartbreak in three Cup finals.

Gavin was named captain under new manager Robbie Horgan in 2014 before joining Shamrock Rovers at the end of the year. He re-signed for the Drogs for 2017 after they achieved promotion to the Premier Division via the play-offs.
