Luke progressed through the youth system at Burnley before being released at the end of the 2013-14 season and signed for Shelbourne in August 2014. He made nine appearances for Shels and then joined Premier Division side Bray Wanderers at the start of 2015.
Luke made thirteen league appearances for the Seagulls as they avoided relegation and he then joined Drogheda United under Pete Mahon in 2016.
Naturally a midfielder, Luke dropped back into defence on the opening night of the season and he excelled in the new role. The only member of the squad to play every minute of the league season, Luke was rewarded with the Player’s Player of the Season as Drogheda regained promotion to the Premier Division on an infamous night against Wexford Youths.
He re-signed for the Boynesiders in December 2016.
