Shane Finegan
Shane was born in Dublin on 16/05/93 and is the U19 goalkeeper.
Shane has represented Leinster FA in inter-provincial tournament in Limerick and Germany in 2010. He was also runner-up in the SFAI Cup in 2010. Shane has been fantastic between the posts for the Drogs this year, even saving a penalty which helped the team gain one point from their battle with Mervue.

Stephen Hevey
Dublin born Stephen has previously played for Shelbourne F.C., Drogheda Boys and Boyne Rovers before embarking on his role as Drogheda United U19 defender. Stephen has several achievements already to his name including four DDSL Schoolboy League winner medals, two NDSL League winner medals; he was capped for the Leinster FA Youths squad and also voted Player of the tournament in the FAI Youth inter-country tournament.

Stephen has previously played for Duleek AFC and St. Kevin’s Boys. He has won 3 Leinster titles and the All Ireland Cup with his school St. Mary’s Diocesan. Stephen has also represented 3 different teams in the Foyle Cup and captained the Drogheda Schoolboys League in the Kennedy Cup.

Reece Mc Enteer
Drogheda born Reece has played for Kingscourt Harps and Monaghan United. Reece has played on the N.E.C.S.L. Representative team in the Kennedy Cup, the Ulster School Representative team in the Keele Cup in Manchester and also on the North- East Regional Squad. Reece made the bench on the Monaghan United Senior Squad last season and played in their friendly against Wolves.

Eoin Smyth
Born in Dublin, Eoin has previously played for East Meath United, St. Kevin’s and Bohemians. Eoin’s soccer achievements include DDSL Runner-up, an All-Ireland title and 3 Leinster Cups with his school St. Mary’s, 4 North Leinster Cups, DDSL Cup and League Winner. He was also involved in the Interprovincial tournament in 2011. Known for his “Rory Delap type” throw-in, Eoin made it onto the bench for the Drogheda United Senior Squad during the 2011 season.

Neil Mc Evoy
Neil was born in Waterford on the 23/07/93. He played underage football with Drogheda Boys were his team were DDSL League winners U13 and reached the PFAI final U17.

Shane Ryan
Before joining Drogheda United, Shane has played with Baldoyle United, Cloghertown United, Ashbourne United, Home Farm F.C. and Gombak United (Singapore). Shane has several soccer achievements to date. He has won the NDSL, 2nd in the DDSL, represented Ireland in the Glasglow and Czech Republic Cup. He signed professional for Gombak United in Singapore and won the Prime League. The Dublin boy was also awarded with a D.I.T. Scholarship this year.

Tadhg O’Brien
Local boy Tadhg was born on 08/03/94. Before taking on his role with Drogheda United U19’s Tadhg previously played with Drogheda Boys and Boyne Rovers. Tadhg has being rewarded for his football talents by receiving Player of the Year on several occasions.

Conor Osborne
Conor played with Walshestown before he made the move to Drogheda United U19’s. His football accomplishments include DDSL Premier Cup runner-up, representing Dundalk at the Kennedy Cup and representing Drogheda at the Foyle Cup.

Jack Reynolds
The u19 captain, Drogheda born Jack has proven to be a great leader for his team. Jack has previously played for Drogheda Boys were he was also their captain from 2005-2009. He then made the move up to the Drogheda United youth squad were he has remained captain. Jack has several soccer achievements to his name including a place on the emerging talent programme in 2008. He also received a soccer scholarship from Trinity College Dublin this year.
Jack scored a goal for the U19 side to help the team to a great victory over Shamrock Rovers.

Gavin Mullen
Dublin born Mullen has played football for W.F.T.A. F.C., Homefarm, Trim Celtic and Mullingar. Gavin has won numerous medals and trophies and was voted player of the year on several occasions. He was top goal scorer for several teams and played in the Kennedy and Foyle Cups. Mullen also played against Qatar with the Regional Squad. Gavin scored a cracker of a goal against Shamrock Rovers this season to help the Drogs to their win! He drove hard at the home defence, beat two men and struck a tremendous curling shot into the far corner of the net.

Conor Murphy
Murphy has previously played with Drogheda Boys and Walshestown FC. Born in Drogheda on 12/07/93, his greatest soccer achievement to date was winning the U14 Foyle Plate with Drogheda Boys.

Anthony Burke
Before joining the Drogheda United set-up Anto played for Duleek FC, Tolka Rovers and Home Farm. Burke was also a member of the St. Mary’s Diocesan team that won 3 Leinster titles and the U16 All-Ireland title. Anto was also the runner-up in the PFAI Cup final in 2011. The young Drogheda born boy showed off his expert striker skills when he rounded the Bohemians keeper to score a superb goal for the Drogheda side in their September clash.

Jonathon Coleman
Jonathon has previously played for Carrick Rovers were he won the League Cup and Shield in 2011. He also won the Foyle Cup in 2010 with N.E.C.S.L. and came 7th in the Kennedy Cup and 3rd in the Galway Cup.
