As part of the investment in the community links through the League of Ireland from 2009, the FAI is seeking to assist Drogheda United in the recruitment of a Club Promotions Officer.

The Club Promotions Officer will be an employee of Drogheda United and will report to the General Manager of the club. You will be required to work in tandem with the FAI’s Head of League Marketing & Promotions to promote the Airtricity League and Drogheda United.

The Person
As a motivated self-starter, you will have:

• Experience of working with and presenting to schools in the Drogheda area
• Relevant experience in Marketing Campaigns / Promotions
• A desire to work in a challenging sports-related environment, which seeks to maximise impact of limited resources through good design, planning and execution of initiatives
• Knowledge of sport in Ireland and appreciation of the work of a sports club in the community
• Knowledge of community football structures
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills
• Basic knowledge of IT Systems
• Full Driving License
